For Businesses: PSE&G Direct Install

Alfano Mechanical is a PSE&G Trade Ally for the Direct Install program, which helps small and midsize businesses, nonprofits and public facilities replace aging equipment with high-efficiency systems, with PSE&G paying a significant portion of the project cost.

Qualifying upgrades include:

• HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, split systems and heat pumps
• Commercial refrigeration
• Motors and other energy-efficiency upgrades

How it works with us:

1. Eligibility check. We confirm your facility and PSE&G account qualify.
2. Assessment. We walk your facility and identify the upgrades that qualify.
3. Paperwork. We prepare the proposal and the PSE&G program documents.
4. Installation. Our team installs the new equipment and closes out the project with PSE&G.

For larger buildings and custom projects, we also pursue PSE&G business rebates and New Jersey energy-efficiency incentives as part of our design-build projects.

For Homeowners: PSE&G Instant Rebates and 0% On-Bill Repayment

Alfano Mechanical is also a PSE&G Trade Ally for the residential HVAC Instant Rebates program, available to PSE&G residential electric customers in single-family homes and buildings with up to four units.

• Instant rebates: taken right off your invoice when you install qualifying high-efficiency equipment, with additional savings for income-qualified households.
• 0% on-bill repayment: pay for your project in equal monthly installments on your PSE&G bill, at no interest. Most HVAC projects qualify for up to $25,000, generally repaid over 84 months, with higher limits for heat pump projects. There’s no credit check; PSE&G looks at your bill payment history instead.
• Qualifying equipment: high-efficiency air conditioners, furnaces and air handlers, heat pumps, heat pump water heaters and smart thermostats.

We’ll confirm which equipment qualifies and apply the rebate for you.

Financing Options

Not a PSE&G customer, or need a different payment plan? We offer two financing partners:

• NEIF (National Energy Improvement Fund): As a NEIF-approved contractor, we offer fixed-rate monthly payment plans for heating and cooling upgrades, with no lien on your home and no closing fees.
• JB Financing: Convenient financing for air conditioning and heating installations, with a quick online application.

Upgrading to high-efficiency equipment also lowers your monthly energy bills, which can offset much of the payment.
